Hush Point album release - Hush Point III

Brooklyn Conservatory

HUSH POINT news
Tonight at the Brooklyn Conservatory in Park Slope,
 Hush Point will be
celebrating the release of their third album, “Hush Point III.”

To name their third album, Hush Point held a contest,
formed several focus groups and did extensive
telephone polling.
Overwhelmingly, everyone’s favorite name
for the album was “Casablanca,” and the second
most popular title was “Kinda Blew.”

The members of Hush Point rejected both titles
as being cutesy and precious. And twee.
Someone, possibly bassist Aryeh Kobrinsky,
asked why we didn’t just name the album
"Hush Point Twee” and be done with it.

Drummer Anthony Pinciotti then said that since
“Halloween III,” “Rocky III” and “Weekend at Bernie’s III”
had been so successful,
we should name our album “Hush Point III.”

The rest is history.
