As everyone knows, July 14th is Bastille Day.
Less commonly known is that July 14th is also Ingmar Bergman's birthday.
Combining the two  occasions into one celebration was tough -- fireworks don't invoke
existential questions of mortality and loneliness -- so the band put together a short,
enigmatic film to screen between sets.
[Teaser: Robespierre is feeling angst about all that guillotining, while in the background
Madame Defarge knits a gray tea cozy with the words  "Reign of Despondency" in black yarn.]
So dress up and come hear the band play some new tunes.
And hear Mat Maneri work his magic on some old ones (2nd set).
